Jednoduchá odsunutá multi-cache v krásnej dedinke Vyšná Boca v Nízkych Tatrách.
Simple offset multi-cache which will lead you to a beautiful village Vyšná Boca in the Low Tatras.
Vyšná Boca je malá, pôvodne banícka obec (950 m) na konci Bocianskej doliny pod Certovicou a Rovnou holou. Leží v ochrannom pásme NAPANT-u a je výborným východiskom na túry do Dumbierskych a Královohorských Tatier.
Obec sa vyclenila v polovici 19. storocia z bývalých obcí Královská a Svätojánska Boca. Dovtedy bola administratívnou súcastou Nižnej Boce. V minulosti sa v jej chotári dolovalo železo (stopy po jeho tažbe je možné nájst v nadmorskej výške takmer 2000m!), zlato a antimón, neskôr sa obyvatelstvo zaoberalo polnohospodárstvom, prácou v lesoch a chovom dobytka. Banícku minulost pripomína retazová zástavba v údolí s velkými baníckymi domami s pavlacami, ktoré sa dnes menia sa rekreacné chaty.
Oáza kludu a ticha s vynikajúcimi možnostami rekreacnej, vysokohorskej turistiky a cykloturistiky. V zime sú možnosti zjazdového aj bežeckého lyžovania. Snehovú záruku garantuje umelé zasnežovanie s osvetlením a možnostou vecerného lyžovania.

Vyšná Boca is a small, originally a mining village (altitude 950 m), at the end of the Bocianska dolina below Certovica and Rovná hola. It is situated in the protected area of the Low Tatras National Park (NAPANT) and is an excellent starting point for the hikes to the Dumbierske and Královohorské Tatras. In the middle of the 19th century, the village originated from the former villages Královská and Svätojánska Boca. Before that time it was an administrative part of Nižná Boca. In the past, iron, gold and antimony were mined here (evidence of iron mining can be found at the altitude of almost 2000 m!), later the inhabitants dealt with agriculture, woodworking and stock-raising. A chain of big mining houses with courtyard galleries remind of the mining past, being nowadays slowly turned into holiday cottages.
Boca is a peacefull and quiet oasis with many great recreational oportunities, especially alpine-hiking, mountain-biking and in winter, of course, skiing – with a snow guarantee through artificial snow-covering, with lighting enabling night-skiing.

Koordináty vás zavedú pred Banícky dom, ktorý je vysunutou expozíciou Liptovského múzea v Ružomberku. Expozícia, ktorá je prístupná verejnosti od roku 1986, zobrazuje spôsob bývania a života rodiny baníka, ktorá sa zaoberala aj chovom dobytka a oviec. Objekt patrí k typickým baníckym zrubovým domom na kamennej podmurovke. Zachoval sa pôvodný interiér. Je evidovaný ako kultúrna pamiatka.
Banícky dom je súcastou náucného chodníka „Zlatnica – putovanie po baníckych stopách“, ktorého absolvovanie odporúcame. A kedže sme na Slovensku, zmienku o nom nikde okrem lokálnej dedinskej tabule nenájdete (že vraj Google? pche..)

The coordinates will take you to the Miner´s House - a detached exhibition of the Liptov Museum in Ružomberok. It shows a typical life- and living-style of a miner´s family, which dealt also with stock and sheep breeding. The object is a typical miner´s wooden shack built on a stone substaining-wall. The original interior has been preserved. It a registered cultural landmark.
The Miner´s house is part of the educational nature trail „Zlatnica – in the miners´footsteps“.
