1.75 mile easy hike from the trailhead at Denny Creek to the cache area. Requires an easy 30 foot climb up a riverbank at the end to reach the cache. You'll need to fill out a free trail permit at the trailhead to head into this Alpine Wilderness area.
To really enjoy this trip and avoid crowds (couldn't believe how many people found my favorite spot on this hot weekend) try to go during the week. This day we went with a group of 12 adults/children/dog. Had difficulty finding a place to hide the cache with so many people around (I really 'was' shocked...usually there's no one here during the week). Contents are a collaberation of the entire playgoup. Once I got to the area, I realized I forgot a letter about the cache, so if someone could please take a copy with them to stash in the cache it'd be appreciated!
