Geocache Description:

There are many rocks, tall grass, and watch out for thorns!

50,000 years ago the entire norther portion of Texas was buried under 100'-500' of water in what is called the the Permian Bed Sea Shore. At Copper Breaks State Park there are great examples of water erosion from the undertows and waves that crashed onto the beach. At the same time you are able to see remnants of the San Angelo Formation. Mudslides formed visible layers as they came from Colorado and Montana. It is not unusual to find rocks that originated in Colorado hidden in the underbrush.

This EarthCache consists of three locations. See below for the coordinates.
As you walk along the trail the first location you'll come across is the UNDERTOWS, the second is a small mesa that shows the layers of mudslides that occurred throughout the years. The last site is what was once the beach front. You'll see the how the rocks formed over time from the waves.

Follow these coordinates in order:
#1 UNDERTOW FORMATION

N 34 06.600'
W 099 44.774'

#2 MUDSLIDE FORMATION

N 34 06.606'
W 099 44.789'

#3 WAVE FORMATION

N 34 06.626'
W 099 44.794'

In order to claim this cache you need to tell me what the difference is between the undertow erosion formation and the waves on the beach erosion formation.
