Located near First Connecticut Lake. There is a beautiful view.
with a cache as a bonus! Take Rt. 3 north from First Connecticut
Lake to Magalloway Road. Travel for 8 miles on this gravel road. If
gate 75 is closed - no access. Follow the signs to the "Tower
Lookout" parking lot. Bring water and snacks. This is a strenuous,
uphill rocky hike. It is approximately 3/4 of a mile in length.
Recommended for summer and fall. There are toilets and a picnic
table. Recommended for ages 6 years+
Take Rt.3 north from First Connecticut Lake to Magalloway Road.
Follow signs to "Tower Lookout" - 8 miles on gravel road. Park at
base. This is a strenuous hike on a marked, rocky path. Bring
snacks and water. Cache is in a rubbermaid container with a red
lid. Coordinates are etched on the lid. Contents of cache:
-notebook -quartz crystal -Canadian quarter This cache is at ground
level near a foundation. Please bring a pen!
