Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Glebe, an old residential neighbourhood just South of the downtown area in Ottawa. It was one of Ottawa's first suburbs, and in 1900 a streetcar line was established between the Glebe and downtown Ottawa. Most houses in the area date from this era. You'll find many restaurants, pubs and small stores along Bank Street. For more information on The Glebe, please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Glebe

The cache is a camouflaged clean pill bottle, so remember to press the lid down as you twist it off. Trades need to be small. The area is high traffic at times (lots of kids and dogs, and their owners), so please be discreet. There's ample parking on the nearby streets. This cache is night friendly, and winter accessible.

Update 2007-08-30: adjusted the coordinates (they were some 20 meters off towards North). Thanks to cron for the help.
Update 2007-09-16: moved the cache some 25 meters towards East because of some sudden deforestation at the old GZ. The hint and the posted coordinates have been updated.
Update 2007-09-23: I'm very sorry, but it appears that the original cache has been muggled. I've looked for it for two days now at various times around GZ, but I can't find it. I've replaced it in the same location with a new container with new contents: canada flag pin, eraser, chicken, and a Danish 50 øre coin. Also a new stash note, log book, and pencil.
Update 2008-04-17: The original container has been retrieved with everything except the geocoin it had when it disappeared. Swag has been moved over to the new container.
Update 2008-05-06: this cache is now maintained by Taoiseach, since I'm relocating. :-) Enjoy! /Smork
