Geocache Description:

This is one of my geocaches that has exceeded 1000 finds!

Rest stop geocaches are fun.

This rest stop hide is located on the east-bound side. You are looking for a micro container.

How much of a nerd am I?

I am happy to think that I rank pretty high up there on the nerd scale.

As you traveling east-bound on I-70, about 3.2 miles before you get to this cache, you will come across one of those establishments that are associated with the "Off Your Rocker" themed geocaches that dot this great land of ours.

So the other day, I was driving by that place, and I decided to pull over and look for a geocache on the porch of that establishment. Mind you, I had no coordinates. I never saw a geocache page or anything.

I just assumed that there was one there.

There is an "Off Your Rocker" geocache located at every one of these places that I know of. I have found a ton of them, and 90% of them are hidden pretty much the same way.

So I thought my chances were good at finding a geocache there, without having coordinates or even knowing for sure that one was there.

I looked but I did not find a geocache there. And later when I checked, I found out that there is not an "Off Your Rocker" cache located there. Wouldn't you know it? The one time I assumed?

So stopping and taking the time on the chance that there might be a geocache there, without confirmation of such. That is how much of a nerd I am.

And that is one oddball rocker joint.

I hid this thing quite a while ago. Then recently, I passed through and stopped to make sure it is still there. It is. And if everyone is careful, it will be there for a long time.

Have fun!
