Following the River Lostock on the outskirts of Leyland. Good footpaths.
This is a small size cache. There are usually plenty of normal ducks nearby, but the one you are looking for is different. Stand on higher level path looking towards the river. Short length of fence with 5 posts in front of you.
In Summer 2011 there has been an explosive growth of Himalayan Balsam that has overwhelmed the area. The riverside fence is hard to see, but when the Himalayan Balsam dies back in Autumn, all will be revealed once again. Until then, you may find that a cachers (or more likely dog walkers) trail leads from the main riverside path up the bank to the higher level path, passing very close to GZ.
