Cache is located at a great winery on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. This cache is designed to give you a small feel for the area. There are some amazing views in the Finger Lakes and this is only one. This is a Travel Bug Hotel so, PLEASE try to LEAVE 2 TRAVEL BUGS in here at all times. If there are more than 2 travel bugs in the cache and you do not have one to trade feel free to take one so that they can keep moving along on their journey as I regularly replenish the cache contents.
This cache is a shortend version of our first cache Bacchus's Playground. If you have found the previous cache you do need to come back again to log as a new find. This is the same cache in a traditional format instead of a multi-cache. I hope this makes it easier on out of town cachers. The cache site provides picnic tables with a view... in the warm weather. A great place to fuel up for more geocaching! This cache is located on private property at a business. The owner has full knowledge of this and no one will bother you if they see you. If you should run into trouble stop in and ask for help. You can even try some wine if your in the mood and maybe talk to one of the evil monkeys!
You do not have to go into the vineyards for this cache. Please admire them from afar.
Creating and always updating an informal caching trail among the wineries and vineyards along Seneca Lake. Such a beautiful region, and I hope this makes you feel more a part of such a wonderful, integral part of the Finger Lakes.
