Geocache Description:

Quick stop for those of you heading up Hwy #41.

Mud creek is a tributary of the Salmon river.

Just upstream (east) of the river crossing is a large log sticking out of the water, at various times we have seen ducks, turtles, and the occasional great blue heron sitting on this log.

while placing the cache I noticed evidence of turtle eggs (hatched) around the edge of concrete where the river runs under the road.

Shoulders of the road are wide here giving ample room to pull over and park.

as always keep the young'uns close.

no hint should be required, but I'll put one if anyone needs it.
Please replace cache exactly were it was found, the container isn't particularly waterproof and needs the protection afforded by it's hiding place. thanks
