A prairie is an area that is land covered "predominantly in grass".
This area is what could be considered a small prairie. However it does have some trees. This cache is less than 30 feet from a trail that is less traveled. The cache itself is a bit smaller than a 35mm canister. It is camouflaged but in plain sight.
