The Magna Centre will be one of the largest recreation facilities in Ontario. The 215,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility will feature an
Olympic-size and three NHL-size rinks, a 25-metre competition pool and 21-metre learning/leisure pool, a full-size gymnasium and walking track,
three multi-purpose rooms, a restaurant and commercial leasing space.
The name of the cache comes from our son's love of speed skating. The Newmarket Speed Skating Club skates at the Magna Centre on Wednesdays from 7-9 pm. So if you happen to be caching during that time stop by the Olympic sized rink and take a peek. Our motto is "Go Fast, Turn Left!"
On August 28, 2007 the Magna Centre will open its doors for the first time. Stop by for the Grand Opening celebration at 7pm and see what it has to offer. And while you are there, see if you can be the FTF on this special occasion. There is a small FTF prize that you can use across the street.
The cache only contains a log. Please bring a pencil/pen to sign and please put logbook back so others can enjoy this cache.
