This cache is in a far corner of the John Kieran Nature Preserve, just off of a well-maintained trail.
There are two entrances to the preserve, one on Straightmouth Way at N42°39.388' W070°35.965' and the other on Marmion Way at N 42°39.236, W070°35.919'. Parking is easier on Marmion Way, but the trails are better-maintained (and, in the spring, drier) from the Straightsmouth Way entrance.
There is no need for bushwhacking; the trail will take you within 25 feet of the cache. But those last 25 feet require climbing over some small boulders (2-3 ft size), and for that reason I have raised the terrain rating.
The cache is a clear plastic container, approx 4 x 4 x 6 inches, nestled into a secure location.
