Seal Rock is located directly on the Hood
Canal two miles north of Brinnon on U.S. Highway
101.
It offers spectacular scenery and recreation
activities for all ages, including scuba diving, crabbing, clamming
and shrimping. Canoes and kayaks can be launched from the north
landing. Both the Native American and Marine Biology Nature Trails
are universally accessible -- and both begin at the day use parking
area.
The cache is a quick park and grab near the
entrance to this wonderful recreation area. An easy find whether
you're there for the weekend or just on your way by. If you have
time, drive through the park and check out the views. If you have
LOTS of time, bring a picnic, or even a tent!
The contianer is a WWII era army green metal
ointment can, approximately 4" x 3" x 1". An excellent location for
dropping coins and other tiny trackables. No room for swag, so
please don't leave any. We've added stickers for the kids and you
don't need to trade, just help yourself to a couple and enjoy.
You'll want to bring something to write with.
PLEASE put the cache back EXACTLY the way you
found it.
GOOD LUCK!
