Geocache Description:

Near artesian well "Crystal Springs."

What used to be a busy rest stop is now faded away to almost nothing. Run-down old buildings and crumbling foundations remain from an old gas station, bus depot, and cafe that were abandoned when I-94 came through a half mile south and traffic dried up (pun intended). The old natural artesian well remains and runs from a hose at the base of the fountain. It's still cold and clear--bring your water bottle!
