Geocache Description:

Located in Nowell Park, Joliet, IL

A nice place to rest along Route 66. Waterpark and swimming, nice play area for the kids. When there's a lot of water moving - the creek is pretty cool too. This is a quick park and grab - if you want it to be. Parking lot is right there! There are some stones that looked like they were once a fireplace or something similar. Big Sugar and I placed this cache (our first) after visiting the Route 66 Motor Speedway aka Chicagoland Speedway. Cache is a 6" round Rubbermaid clear container with a white lid. There was no poison ivy when we dropped the cache - but may be some now - BEWARE! Thanks! FTF - I AM, THEREFORE I CACHE! - 8/28/07 @ 15:31P.
