Geocache Description:

WATCH FOR RATTLESNAKES!

Camo-ed ammo box originally filled with hand tools. Take exit 32 from I-84 east or west. Paved parking is available at N41° 48.171' W112° 18.029'. DO NOT park in the dry grass! It is extremely flammable and the hot exhaust parts of your car can easily start a fire! You must exit the interstate to reach this cache. Possibly accessible in the winter, depending on snow cover.

Anyone who has driven this stretch of interstate knows that it is not the most visually stimulating road (ok, in the spring when everything is green, it's beautiful). Over the last two years, we've enjoyed the diversion of caching along the way. We're now placing this cache so that others can break up the monotony of the drive. Enjoy!

Depending on the time of year, you may spot deer, antelopes (pronghorn), sheep, horses, coyotes, or pheasants nearby.

Handicapped/stroller accessible except for the last 15 feet. You do not need to cross any fences or private property to reach this cache. Semi trucks can park near the interstate about .25 mile away. The walk is flat along the edge of a paved road.

In the winter, this road may not be plowed, so you may have to park near the interstate (NOT on the interstate) and walk about .25 mile to the cache. Depending on previous snowfall and winds, the cache could very well be under several inches of snow and quite difficult to find. Overall snow cover in the area will probably never exceed 8 inches depth (looking at the cache in June 2009, I'm thinking my estimate might be a bit low--the snow probably drifts over the cache).

Muggles probably won't be a problem--in over 20 years driving this section of road, I recall seeing a car on this side road once.
