This cache is located en-route to the beautiful Silver Lake Provincial Park. A little climbing is required off-road to get this one, it's safe but watch your kids. It's a nice break from your highway driving to or from anywhere. You will likely not get dirty either. Once you have found the cache, proceed for a stroll and rest in the park area by Silver Lake.
The cache itself is a watertight orange boat container similar to an ammo box, fully (almost) covered in cammo tape. We have included various trading items as well as two TB's and a FTF sticker w/name and date.
Although it is a bit further off the highway than we had planned, we would like to see this cache become a Hub for TB's and GeoCoins for geo cachers to drop and retrieve, as it is near the highways #1, #3 and #5 in and out of the lower mainland.
You do not need a 4x4 for this cache, neither do you need it for Silver Lake Provincial Park.
