Geocache Description:

This Cache In-Trash Out Event hosted by the Midlands GeoHolics will be held prior to the CacheToberFest at Dreher Island State Park on Saturday October 13 from 7:30 am - 9:00 am.

*****09/28*****Ranger Seth of Dreher Island State Park is grateful for our help, and he has requested that we break into two groups. One group will execute a traditional beach sweep (since the water's so low) to pick up litter and debris. He has targeted an area for this. The other group will perform some trail maintenance. For this group, he has designated specific areas along a trail that need some "trip-hazard" removal. He suggests that we bring a couple of shovels and a couple of axes, so that we can remove some rocks and roots.*****

Trashbags and drinking water will be provided. If you already have your own favorite gloves or picker-upper utensils, you might want to bring them.

Although this CITO won't have an organized raffle, please feel free to bring along any Travel Bugs and GeoCoins to add to the fun. They'll come in very handy later on at the CacheToberFest Event.

For those of you with other scheduled obligations that day, please note that you are more then welcome to come and go as you please. We highly encourage you to avail yourself of all that CacheToberFest has to offer (later on).

Make sure to put this CITO event on your watchlist. More specific information will be posted as it becomes available..
