Cache is a medium size tab-lock box containing the usual assortment of trinkets.
Another of my occasional series of summit caches.
This one is on Slieve Lamagan, 704 meters at its summit.
The simplest route is to follow Wildlifewriters instructions for his nice cache at blue lough, Blue Heart (GC13JPB)which you could do on the way.
These start at the Carrick Little car park at N54 07.722 W005 56.588. and then follow the obvious trail up the valley towards the path junction at N54 09.070 W005 57.537. where you continue on north and west towards the lough.
At the lough, stay on the path and continue on up to the path junction on the saddle between Binnian And Lamagan at N54 9.731 W5 58.654.
From there it is a long slogg up the obvious path to the summit and the cache.
Total round trip on this route is approx. 6-7 miles.
No stones need be moved to locate and retrieve the cache, please ensure the cache is tucked back in place and not visible before you leave the location.
This Cache is on the summit of one of the seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains with summits higher than 700 meters, collectivly known as the 7 Sevens.

In each of these caches you will find an instruction card containing details which will, if you collect all seven, lead to a bonus cache "The 7 Sevens (GC15M20)" which you will be able to find and log as a reward for reaching all seven summits.
Please make sure you take carefull note of the information, and ensure the card is replaced in the cache with the logbook for the next visitor.
As with all caches in wilderness areas, please ensure you are dressed properly and prepared for all conditions, as the weather can change suddenly.
