Geocache Description:

Meet and Greet at the Greenland Open Space trailhead. Take I-25 to exit 167. Head west to the sharp turn in the road then south to the open space entrance.

The Greenland Open Space Trailhead in Douglas County has a large parking area, several picnic benches, information area, and a portable toilet. The trails lead to several caches to the south and connect to the Santa Fe Trail that goes through Palmer Lake.

Winter weather is coming, but that doesn't mean caching comes to an end for the next 6 months! The idea behind this meet and greet event is for you to find caching partners that you can call up on "nice" fall and winter days. Caching is more fun with a friend, so come meet someone new or just find someone you already know and exchange information

Meeting time is from 2-4pm.

Raffle items TBA, but we usually have a few geocoins and a ready-made cache.
Tickets are $1 each or you get 6 tickets for $5

I may add more details later, so stay tuned.
