Geocache Description:

This is a three-part multicache that will take you to Saukie Municipal Golf Course and Lincoln Park in Rock Island to gather information leading you to the cache, a micro located just outside Lincoln Park.

I wanted to place a cache in each of the Rock Island parks; however, current policy requires park-board approval of the cache and location, removal of the cache by March 31, and resubmission for 1-year park board approval if the cache is relocated within the park. Therefore, I am creating a series of 3-part multicaches that take you to two different Rock Island parks for information leading to the coordinates for a micro cache located near, but just outside, the second park you visit.

For all you will need your own pen. For some you may want an extraction device. Gold dollar for FTF.

Saukie Municipal Golf Course offers a golf course.

Lincoln Park offers tennis courts, basketball courts, playground equipment, outdoor theater, band shelter, picnic shelter and 32 acres of shaded green space. Programs in the summer include outdoor concerts and live outdoor theater provided by the Genesius Guild.

Part 1
Go to the coordinates above which take you near the main sign in the parking lot at Saukie Golf Course, visible from your vehicle (may be more visible from the street if you can't park next to it). Look for the person's name who is mentioned as a memorial and, converting the letters to numbers with A=1, B=2, Z=26, etc., answer the following questions:

What number represents the middle initial? A____

What number represents the second letter of the last name? B____

What number represents the fourth letter of the last name? C____

Part 2
Now go to N 41° 30.079 W 090° 32.703 in Lincoln park and answer the following questions:

How many columns are there at this location? D____

How many cement benches are there here? E____

How many legs are on each bench? F____

How many arches are there on the stage? G____

Part 3
Now figure out the coordinates for the cache located just outside Lincoln Park:
