City Comes to the Country

This cache is located in the yard of a farmhouse now grown into the city.
This place has so much city around it, it’s hard to notice. Lots of old bits and pieces of farm implements and irrigation piping were left behind when the farmers left about 8 years ago to find more open spaces. As with many country houses, it used to be the only place among the fields.
Now it’s located along a very busy street in Post Falls. There is room for the little ones to play in the yard so they won’t be too close to the cars going by. Lots of people, but the way everyone zips by, I’m not sure they will even see cache hunters.
It’s on private property but as we are a family of cachers and we live here, all are welcome to come into the yard. So if you are coming to Post Falls, stop by to add this one to your finds. The cache container is large enough for small trade items or small travel bugs and is well concealed.
Note: It’s not inside the neighbor's fence. The orchard is left over from farming days. If the apples are ripe, have a few while you’re looking. They are not sprayed, so have buggy holes (we just eat between the holes). Besides, those that are not afraid to stick their hands into spider holes can’t be afraid of a holey apple!

**NOTE** The Mullan avenue widening project is underway. Access to our yard may become more difficult. I have faith in the creativity of geocachers to find their way. You may use whatever entry means you need to get into the yard.
