Geocache Description:

Profitis Elias is a small hill at Piraeus (Kastella), that took it's name from the Prophet Elias.

The cache is was a film canister, that I took from the Panagia Korfiotissa (GCRJ1J) cache. YiannisP had left the film canister there, so I grab it and put it at Prophet Elias hill.

The area is great and the view is amazing. I place it there with the help of my friend Nikos651.

--- Some small words from the history for the Prophet Elias:

His full name was Elias the Thesvit, and it was son of Sovak
He was borned at Thesvi, a place near Galaad, and acted at 9-10 century.
Elias was a very active, aggressive and courageous prophet, acting as God's agent.
Elias was the one who brought down fire, three times, from the heaven, making the Israelites to believe God.
He is the one who with his tongue inhibits the rain for three year and a half.
Is the one who resurrects the dead son of Seraphthias widow and burned a hundred people send by the king Ohozias.
Is the one who saw God at the Horiv mountain.
Is the one who cut the Jordan river and went with a fiery carriage to heaven.
Is the one (with Mose) that stand next to Him at the transfiguration.
He has as an assistant, student and successor the Elisaie.

--- In Hellas (Greece), Greeks used to name the church at the highest hills, with the name of Prophet Elias.
 You can visit the church too. So, the cache it's located at the homonymous hill at Piraeus.

It contains a Greek/English geocaching declaration, a logbook and a small pencil (but bring your own too). or you can go there by bus or almost uphill walking from the port of Piraeus

The cache is hidden at a small grove, near the stairs.
After your geocaching experience, you can enjoy a nice coffee or a bowling game.

The view from the place is great. If you have enough time you can try to get there by foot from Mikrolimano and enjoy a very nice walking.
There is also a restaurant/cafeteria if you wish to relax, viewing the marvelous view of Athens and Piraeus :)
