Hint is a real spoiler.
This is #78 in alooong series of caches honoring(?) SC Geocachers.
What the heck does the cacher name "The Miser" mean???
Websters Defines "Miser" as:
miser
Pronunciation:*m*-z*r
Function:noun
Etymology:Latin miser miserable
Date:circa 1560
: a mean grasping person; especially : one who is extremely stingy with money
Now when we met her at the Aiken CITO we didn't think she fit that description even a little bit.
But then after looking at some of her cache hides we re-thought this.
Ever done Perry Memorial Cache ?(GC159AP); or maybe Babbling man (GCVNJM); how about Carolina Bay? (GCMG28);
if so then you may think those are tough hides like we do.
So that makes her "miserly" with the clues and hints!
And most of her 19 hides are hidden with Carter Cache; another cacher we are curious about her name origin.
(HER cache was hidden at the same time as this one on the OTHER side of I-20.)
But little birdies in the Aiken area tell us there is no question about the Miser; she is a great cacher with devilishly fun hides.
And for that we say.."Keep on Miserin'...."
WHATEVER it means!
