Chittick10: Truly a bummer to retire a 14 year old cache. I know this cache has had a tough time of it since I adopted it, but I genuinely wanted it to last. I even have a replacement container in my car that I bought since the last time I was here. Turns out, I did some internet sleuthing and this property has been slated for development since 2017. When I saw that, I checked in with GoPlayOutside because I know he lives in the southside, and he noted that he would be happy to check on the situation and rescue the TB that got dropped yesterday. He then confirmed for me that development looks imminent, and had my permission to remove the cache. Time to let this one go, and hopefully whatever gets put in the place of all these trees is ripe for some new caches!
