The Republic Hoosgow Traditional Cache
iamgolden2268: Although written permission was granted from the chief of police and we have updated it several times since placement, there has evidently been some turnover in the police department and they no longer want the cache on their property. We are reluctantly archiving this one. Thanks to all who hunted and found it over the years!

Small lock ‘n lock container filled with small trade items and log.
The area where this cache is hidden is not usually very busy but please watch for muggles just in case. There is a nice little prize for the 1st and 2nd to find. It is important that the cache be placed exactly back like you found it so that it isn’t seen by pedestrians walking to and from. Accessible by wheelchair, only about a foot off the pavement, but watch carefully for entering & exiting traffic. The material the cache is hidden in is a favorite to wasps, make sure you look before you put your hand in somewhere.
