New York Capital Region Geocachers

It's going to be a "Scary" and "Tricky" Day at
Hollyhock Hollow!

On October 27, 2007
from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Join us for a fun filled time at
the Sanctuary Grounds of Audubon International.

 
 

Tentative Schedule 

2:00 Registration Begins

2:00 Downloading of coordinates

3:00 Scavenger hunt begins.

5:00 Pot luck dinner served.
5:00 judge cards handed out for “best of” events (you
do not need to come in costume)

     a. Scariest costume
b. Funniest costume
c. Best dressed GPS
d. Worst dressed GPS

6:00 Group Picture

7:00 Night time "Haunted" Hike Cache.

8:00 winners announced/clean up.

8:30 to? (Possible) group campfire

There is a twist with the 6 Traditional caches… 3 will be real Geocaches and you will be able to log them at the end of the event and 3 will be trick Geocaches designed to give you a little startle, all in good fun.

We went down to the " Pirates of Harriman 4: Cache to World's End" event on the 20th and made out like pirates literally. There was so much left over hotdog and hamburger buns, ketchup, mustard, relish, salsa and about 20 bags of chips and they were giving them away so we took the pirates booty!!

Unfortunately the sanctuary grounds do not allow dogs, sorry but the pups must stay home.
