Geocache Description:

This is a cache is located in a small park north of Chicago and is the second in my series of Howard Street caches.

Come follow the Pied Piper to this namesake Skokie park. The river is to the east so the rats wont have far to go when you rid them from this area. No, there are not rats here in this park, just lots of rabbits. Don't look so Grimm. :)

This is a family friendly cache.

This park is an 8.5-acre site leased from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) through 2032. Check out what lies to the east of the cache from Google Earth and you will see the what the water plant looks like from the air.

Development in the 1960’s included a brick shelter, a playground and a gravel parking lot. The lot is now paved and some might claim that it is difficult to get to. The site now includes an irrigated soccer field, a ball field, a new picnic shelter, playground and basketball and tennis courts.
Beware of sport muggles when searching for the cache as this park is quite busy all day up to sunset with the locals. If soccer is going on, be sure you have others in your group to screen your activities.

The cache contains standard geo-swag at launch with a geocoin for the FTF'er.
