This cache has been archived.

Leptoceratops: Hello!
I'm archiving your cache as it has been disabled for more than a one month and it is lost or completely damaged. Usually caches are visited and maintained within 30 days after disabling.
If you wish to unarchive your cache then please contact me using GC code or link of this cache.

If there are still leftovers from container I would appreaciate if other players could collect them so that there are no trash in the nature.

Happy geocaching!

Geocache Description:

Come visit an interesting sculpture: a cross made of a couple of dozen nesting boxes for birds. I did not hear birds singing nor saw them close, but the cross itself looks amazing.

Why the birds never make their homes in this structure though. I think they are still OK with the individual houses out in the woods and there is very little attraction for them to live in this multiappartment house.

Sorry for taking andriuslt's idea. He wrote:

Some facts about the cross: the cross is named “Singing cross” and is dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi. Cross was erected on 4-th of October 2001, that is St. Francis of Assisi feast day and International World Animal Day. The author of the cross is Gytenis Umbrasas.

The initial cache was a 1/2 liter plastic soft drink bottle preloaded with a logbook, a few pens and a marble for swag. The bottle was a bit camouflaged.

The cache has been muggled several times and current container size is rated in attributes above.

Good luck!

The coords provided are only approximate. As with all my hides I try to do as much sampling as possible, but seldom get a professional precision. Don't expect to find the cache exactly at the numbers your GPSr reads. Other than plainly logging "off coords" please add your version of correct coords, this will make your entry useful both for cache owner and other seekers. Appreciate your cooperation.
