Geocache Description:

The Stones of Mora was the place where the Swedish kings were elected. We know that Magnus Ladulås was elected king in 1275, but the tradition is probably a bit older than that. The old tradtion states that Swedes were not only entitled to elect their king, but also to depose them.  The location was on the border of a wetland, and according to Snorri Sturluson's (dead 1241) accounts of Swedish history, five kings had been drowned in this wetland, when the people had been displeased. More information at the Wikipedia.

One way to get to the cache is from the rest stop "Mora stenar" on E4 between Knivsta and Uppsala. There is a trail leading from the rest stop to the monument, passing the cache. I don't know if this path is viable during the winter.
