Geocache Description:

Way back in time... Mickey Mouse & Walt Disney's "Mr Toad's Wild Ride" in Anaheim, CA was great fun for me when I was still a little troll.... so this cache is dedicated to them.

I really like this back road, and I drive it every chance I can. But it does have some personal history. Sometime back in the early 90's, I had the opportunity to ride "Shotgun" (passenger seat) in a 10 wheel 3 axle fire dept. water tender with 5000 gallons of H20 behind us down this road..... code 3, Lights and siren !!! But the real wild ride happened back in '84.... when I lost the brakes in my '76 Datsun truck near the bottom of this grade. When placing this cache, I will have to say the creek and "swimming hole" were tempting, but I honored the "No Trespassing" signs, and placed the cache elsewhere. This cache "might" be found at equidistant points from Avery, Mt. Ranch, and Murphy's.... but I really did not do the math, or the plotting. In all honesty, it could be very close to "Sheep Ranch".... But then again... it could be out in the middle of "nowhere". In the cache, I've left a reminder of what may be needed after finding this one. (chuckle)
