Ivy League Traditional Cache
DewPoint52: I'm not sure why this keeps disappearing in a spot in the park that I would think muggles wouldn't go, but for some reason it does.
I live further away from this now than when I placed it so I'm not going to replace it and will free up the area for someone else to hide a cache.

35mm film can in Powell Drive Park
Despite living in this area for over 20 years, I never knew about the Powell Drive Park until very recently. It's a nice little Raleigh city park with tennis courts, a small pond, a playground, and a large open flat field that resembles a baseball field (but without walls, bleachers, or a dirt infield). There was one thing the park was missing though - geocaches, so sub32 and I decided to fix that by each placing one here.
I've always liked ivy and have some English ivy growing in my own yard. Many of the wooded areas in this park have ivy covering the ground and the tree trunks. (Fortunately most of it is NOT poison ivy.) This cache is in one of those areas. If you approach from the correct direction, it only requires few yards of fairly easy bushwhacking (ivywhacking?) to get to the cache.
According to the sign at the entrance, this park closes at 10pm. The cache is near the back corner of the park and not too far from some homes, so please only hunt this one when the park is open.
