Geocache Description:

Bring a good set of shoes and a flashlight.

Scattered throughout the Blue Mountain area are numerous caves and crevasses. Even after years of hiking in the area, you can often be surprised by finding new underground places to explore. This little known area is far from the tourist traps and heavily traveled sections of the Bruce Trail. You can often find snow here as late May, as the section gets little daylight.

While it is a short hike from the lone parking spot on the road, leave the stroller at home.

The coordinates will lead you on top of the cache, but it’s a good 15 feet underneath you.

Retrace your route back to the parking lot (about 30 feet) that will lead you to the best way down into the crevasse. Once at the bottom, there is only one direction that enables you to move for any distance in a straight line without hitting a wall. Move in that direction until you reach a large rock that can be climbed with a bit of effort.
