As the owner has not responded to my earlier email attempts, I am archiving this cache in accordance with the wishes of the staff at the Blue Hills.

Geocache Description:

Located only minutes from downtown Boston, the DCR Blue Hills Reservation stretches over 7,000 acres from Quincy to Dedham, Milton to Randolph, providing a green oasis in an urban environment. The Broken Hills area serve up some rugged terrain and a commanding overlook to the south

The cache is a sandwich sized L&L placed in a remote and less traveled section of the park. I took the Squamaug Path up to the Skyline and then had to bushwhack a bit to get to GZ. Parking is a long way off in any direction so take your pick on the hike you want to make of it.

Bring a snack and enjoy the trip.


WARNING ! The Blue Hills are the native habitat of two species of poisonous snakes, TIMBER RATTLERS and COPPERHEADS. Always use caution while searching and NEVER do anything that would harm these endangered animals.
