Geocache Description:

In winter the area of the cache is full of water so if you have kids keep them under your control

Chadwick Lakes is a watercourse about 1.30 kilometres from Rabat that continues eastwards under the name of Wied il-Qlejgha. It is dammed at three places for irrigation purposes. In winter these dams produce reservoirs in a picturesque setting. The lakes are named after an English benefactor. Take the bus No. 80 to Rabat. From the bus terminus to walk about 2.5km to the cache. The road that leads to the cache is through Maltese countryside and it is a lovely walk. In Summer the lake is dry and the walk can be a bit tough in the summer heat. The road can be driven by car. You can walk through the watercourse and at the end of the watercourse you come to a main road N35.90130 E14.4084. -----------------------------------------------------------
