At April, 25. 1986 a big avalanche destroyed a dozen of buildings and the little church of Mogno. With the design of the well known architect of Ticino, Mario Botta, the new church San Giovanni Battista was consecrated in 1996. The building was faced with Peccia-marble and Vallemaggia-granite. Nach den Plänen des Tessiner Meisterarchitekten Mario Botta wurde 1996 die neue Kirche San Giovanni Battista eingeweiht. Sie wurde mit Peccia-Marmor und Vallemaggia-Granit verkleidet. The cache is location on the avalanche protective barrier in a little fir wood. Die Cachebox liegt auf dem Lawinenschutzdamm in einem Tannenwäldchen.
