Geocache Description:

The North Bay Shore Recreation Area is also known as Oconto County Park II.

It's a cool place to be on a hot day, listening to the waves lapping the shoreline and enjoying the bay breezes. The Oconto County Forestry Dept. maintains 33 campsites w/water & electricity; showers, and a dump station on the waters of Green Bay. The campground includes playground equipment for the kids, a picnic area for the family, and a boat launch for the fishermen. The bay has some of the best fishing in the Great Lakes. Take a hike out on the breakwater…on a clear day, you can see the Door County Peninsula. The park is only a half an hour’s drive from Lambeau Field (Go Packers!) or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The cache is a camouflaged lock-n-lock container and is winter-friendly.
