Geocache Description:

A place to take a break while travelling along the Bruce Highway.

Have you driven past this place many times and never stopped?

The Woodworks, Forestry and Timber Museum is right along the highway in Gympie's north. It features a pioneering forest handtools display, 1925 Republic winch truck, blacksmith's shop and pit saw and crosscut saw demonstrations among other attractions. There's also a 619-year-old Kauri Pine tree section on display which was logged in QLD in 1939.

The cache is placed outside the museum.
