From the top of Cape Perpetua are some of the most beautiful views in the world. The views from this side of the top are of our favorite place. The cache is named for its view and the container.The original view where we wanted to place it (but it was too close to another cache--) showed our favorite view--the ocean and Yachats. Lovely. But anywhere on this trail is LOVELY. Please be careful to put this back and cover all of it, and make sure the cover is on tight.
PLEASE REPLACE THIS CACHE WITH ITS HIDINGS SO THAT IT CAN LAST A LONG TIME. TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE SURE TEH CACHE IS HIDDEN. To truly drink in this view, you are going to have to think like a cacher, and use your head, not your feet. Do NOT go out beyond the stumps and do use a walking stick to verify that you have terra firma under your feet prior to proceeding. You can't access the cache or see it from the coordinates without the "special attachment" you'll find hidden there. Please be sure to replace the cache in such a way that it is SECURE and it's special attachment is well hidden. We don't suggest this cache for small kids, though they can certainly watch from a very safe spot while you find it! We filled the cache with some very cool items, and we hope you'll bring up something truly neat for a cache that is out of the ordinary. Your feet should not leave the cache coordinates. There is a way to get the cache without moving from that spot. . Sometimes, it's not about what we physically eat and drink, but about what we mentally take in that makes us who we are. We hope this special spot is nourishment for your soul!
