In the year of the
Lord 2007, the municipal council of Nord-Aurdal in Valdres, Norway
- for some reason or another - exercised their right according to
Norwegian Law to declare the municipal center of Nord-Aurdal, i.e.
Fagernes, a city.
Well, my oh my, this
is heavy news indeed.
But it was probably to
be expected since the said location has been the proud host of a
gouvernment owned liquer outlet for some years. Evil tongues
(local) say that it is an attempt to give Fagernes something that
Beitostølen has not and Leira can not steal away from the good
people of Fagernes..
But then a proper city
needs a lot of things - like, say, an urban cache.
But rejoice, now it is
here! Smack in the city center.
Like all urban caches,
this one is probably also easier to find than to grab without
attracting the unwanted attention of muggles.

The cache holds only a
combined stashnote and log, a short pencil and some very small
items for trading.
