Aquidneck Island Land Trust has preserved this little piece of
oldgrowth American Beech Forest for our pleasure. Please respect
it, Park only at designated space that they have provided, it will
hold 3 cars.
Parking Waypoint provided will put you in the parking lot, please
do not try to acess this area from any other neighborhood streets.
To reach, use either 114, or 138 to Union St. then to Carriage Lane
to parking. From the parking area, this is a nice little flat walk.
Park in designated area, cross the bridge, follow the trail signs
until you come to the informational signs where you will enter the
woods. This is a spectacular forest with a nice loop trail to walk.
By all means, take the time to walk the loop as well as finding the
cache. This cache has been in place for some time, but it seems
that the multi-micro parts have disappeared, so i am heading you
straight for the treasure with this redux. Enjoy the area, and pay
attention to the rules on the sign!
