Those of you who participated in the Bulverde Geocaching Parade
last year probably remember what a HOOT it was to participate in
this unique event!
We will have a marching/trailer riding entry again this year,
complete with marshmallow guns and candy to throw.
If you show up early to help decorate the trailer, you get an
extra smiley face!
The parade starts at 10:30 AM. We need decorators to show up at
least by 8:30. Lunch will be at 1:00. This parade is part of the
Bulverde Jubilee Days, which goes from 10AM-10PM. There are booths,
games for kids, and fireworks at night. You can geocache and visit
the booths all day!
Again this year, you need to choose your area of expertise and
dress accordingly. Last year,for example, we had the King of Evil
Hides--(Scott), Queen of Greenbriar--(Moosiegirl) and Queen of
Hides ( me!) This year there will be a costume contest with an
extra smiley face for the winner!
There will be lots of new hides in the area, and a special
powerline for those who ride the trailer back to the starting
point.
We will have lunch at The Perfect Slice, 30070 N. 281( 29-44.495,
098-26.120) to trade bugs, coins, and lies.
So mark your calendars, get that costume ready, and be prepared
to have a great time at what I hope will become an annual
event!
