Geocache Description:

A film canister located in the small public 'Fly-In Lion Park' with a great view of the aircraft coming and going from Dick Scobee field.
This should be an easy find but at times (especially lunch time on weekdays) there are so many Muggles around that it will be very difficult to snag undetected.
When I placed it, it took 30 minutes of waiting around to find the right moment to put it in it's new home. Please use extreme stealth.

The Auburn Municipal Airport is also known as Dick Scobee Field. Francis R. (Dick) Scobee was a NASA astronaut who was originally from Auburn WA. Mr. Scobee perished in 1986 when the Orbiter Challenger exploded after launch.
I often dream of becoming a pilot and love to sit in and near this park to watch the planes on approach and take-off. I don't know much about planes but I love the style of WW2 era aircraft, Especially the Beechcraft C18! There is one on tie down at this field. It's the big, slightly run down, silver twin prop with a for sale sign on it. Someday... :)

I placed this cache to celebrate my 75th find and to let others see this great little park. Please rehide as good or better than you find it!
Congrats to almatheyounger for the FTF!
