A bit of History

Parenthesis is the period between 1944 and 1956, during which the Soviet Union leased the entire Porkkala peninsula as well as (parts of) the nearby communes: Kirkkonummi, Degerby, Siuntio and Inkoo. On September 28th, all inhabitants (~10 000 people and 8 000 domestic animals) were given eight days to evacuate.
The Soviet Union used this strategic area as a naval base to secure the Gulf of Finland. Thus the borders were guarded.

The cache

At the given coordinates you can see the remains of one guarded border post. Go West and you will find more of them (so far, we've found four, including start). From one of those ruins, bear 215° (from North) and you will find the cache 120m ahead.

Additional hints:

• The post at given coordinates is about 10m souther than the other posts. Use the waypoint "Start" as reference when going West.
• It may be difficult to find the cache in winter due to snow covering the hideout.
• The cache is no more than 1.5 km off the starting point.
