A cache in the Middle Run Valley Nature Area.
Middle Run is one of my favorite places to hike. It seems enchanted to me because it has some really wild parts with lots of wildlife. This cache was placed just off a newly revamped trail. Accuracy was difficult because of tree cover, so rely on the hint!
4/16 Cache replaced. 3 unactivated geocoins are currently in this cache. Please take only one if you like that sort of thing. Instructions for activation are on the coin envelope. PLease, and I am begging you here, hide this cache from sight!. High muggle traffic. Enjoy the nice bird trail, and know that you need only go a little bit off the trail to get this cache. No bushwacking necessary at all., Enjoy the information provided at the start of the trail, near the end of Tristate Bird Rescue. Note the numbers along the trail, one of them is significant to you to help with finding the cache. Happy caching, friends!
8/28/10 I'm glad to see that the old trail this is near has been mown so you should not have to bushwack, just follow the old trail. Please rehide this cache CAREFULLY as it has been disturbed quite a few times either by wildlife or vandals. I've modified the hiding place and hint so that it will be less visible from the trail. Also I've switched containers so this is now a shiny silver ammo can that I received from the Delaware geocachers to celebrate my 500th find. Don't tell Mike Ott! (shhhhhh)
