This is my first multi-cache so I decided to place it somehwere dear to my heart.

Welcome to George W Pirtle Scout Reservation! Hundreds of Scouts come here each year to camp and enjoy the beauty of this place.
Nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas, George W. Pirtle Scout Reservation is located on the banks of Lake Murval near Gary, Tx and Southwest of Carthage, Tx. Camp Pirtle has facilities for a wide range of activities from a Rifle Range, newly remodeled Archery and Shotgun Ranges, a COPE course, a 35' "Mountain" and a 60' climbing wall to a Waterfront , A lovely outdoor Chapel, Swimming Pool and newly refurbished Council Ring. A visit to the piney woods while walking the Silver Circle Trail will provide the opportunity to view the varied flora and fauna found in the area. GWP also has a campsite geared towards handicapped Scouts and/or Scouters and a Family Camping area.


Coordinates get you to stage one, which is where you will receive coords for stage 2. I spoke to the Camp Ranger before I placed this cache, so I have his permission. Minimum amount of bushwhacking involved, so don't let that stop you.
