Top Of Wickersmam Dome
9/2017***update- We are in the states now and miss Alaska so much. I just put to rest the second of my two sled dogs (age 15) from Fairbanks. They were with me when I made this cache. If anyone sees this and wants to go find it, could you rebuild this cache with a new box, journal and writing utensils? Would you try to place it in the right place and name it: The Koyuk and Sweetpea Cache!!!! Let me know if you do!!! Thanks!!! Miss you all!!!
Start from the summit trail head at the left side of parking lot. This is a white mountains trail head at about mile 28 of elliot north of fairbanks.
Follow trail to top. The cache is toward the front of the top where it is rocky and looks toward the parking lot. Not too far from tower.
Please leave something fun and write a poem. This is a good aerobic hike and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours up depending on your condition. Beautiful place to sit and read. In winter you should still be able to find this one depending on winds and drifts.
