Geocache Description:

A quick stop off the Trans-Canada. The locals have been very busy building this park for your enjoyment.

There is a ton of great historical info on site, plus one regular lock-n-lock cache. Be sure to go down the hill and see the bridge to truly appreciate this cache. This makes a good place to have lunch but there are few places to eat in this little town. There is a picnic table near the cache, or go over and see Lisa at the Charles Hotel next door - she makes pretty good meals at all hours. Otherwise you can visit one of the nearby small stores or gas stations for snacks. This cache is findable 24/7 and the muggles are driving by far too fast to worry about you. It is located in a public rest area beside the highway. You do not need to move anything or climb anything to find the fairly large box. Enjoy our other caches up and down the Fraser Canyon including several installments in the BC Spirit Quest and Lytton Jellyroll Earthcache. There are a number of other fine caches by other teams as well. Enjoy the history here and Drive Safe!
