Named after St.Gohid (Gohid derived from the words go hide) is the patron saint of hiders or stashers. This cache is not only to commemorate St.Gohid but to also congratulate the opening of the new stretch of the A30 which now bypasses the Goss Moor. The old A30 was a major bottleneck especially with the notorious iron bridge. Lorries frequently liked to hit it as they were unable to correctly guess the height of themselves closing the road for hours at a time. At the cache site the bridge can clearly be seen in the distance with its florescent stickers clearly visible. To the cache involves a shortish level walk on a public footpath on public access land, which is popular with dog walkers and the like. Once there you may be able to see a mark left by the infamous St.Gohid. The cache can be reached from a couple of parking spots,I parked on the side of road at 50 24.480 004 51.130
