Once there, head due east to the parking lot. Then look NORTH for the “THE ROCK”, which has a plaque on it - for those who lost their lives in combat in the Second World War that worked at Walker Mfg.

Find the number of the union local and add it to 102 to get (A) for the N coordinates below. This will take you to the final –
N 42 44.AAA W087 46.718. Proceed from “THE ROCK” to the final.

Take a seat and enjoy the view.

This park doesn’t have a name. According to my phone conversation with the city, they call it the Pugh-Jim Rooney Park, (for identification purposes only). Mr. Rooney was instrumental in getting this park, along with city money and a grant from the State of Wisconsin Water Ways Commission.

Hopefully when this land is developed into condos it doesn’t get sold along with the deal.
